Architectural Review Board

City of Hopewell Zoning Ordinance: Article XIV-B, Section J, (1):

The review board membership shall consist of no less than five (5) nor more than seven (7) members who shall be appointed by City Council.  Each member of the Review Board must have a demonstrated interest, competence, or knowledge in historic preservation. One (1) shall be a resident of the City Point Historic District, one (1) shall be an architect or an architectural historian meeting the Secretary of the Interior’s professional qualifications standards referred to in 36 CFR 61. These members shall serve a term of four (4) years.
